The first electric vehicle training programme was held in South Africa in 2018 under the auspices of the Institute of the Motor Industry. Trainees from Nissan, BMW, Scania, Equal Careers Centre, VW and Imperial Technical Training Academy(ITTA) attended the training. They completed EV Level 1,2 and 3 and were proudly the first cohort to receive IMI certificates for their outstanding achievements. The training was managed by Bajith Panday(IMI, SA),   facilitated by Zander (uYilo) and quality assured by Andrew Fronks (IMI,UK)
