Evs must be handled with special care when it comes to roadside assistance, recovery and emergency operations. It is vitally important to understand that the high voltages of EVs necessitate the de-energising of the high voltage system before repairs or towing is allowed. Then too, special recovery and salvaging protocols must be followed to manage hazards and prevent further escalation of the problem.
